Whee this is my first post in a while. Like anybody follows this xD haha. Well, anyways I read this awesome story for English called Dead Stars by Paz Marquez Benitez. It's a story of indecision and conflicting wants. I like the story 'coz it reminds me of a situation someone I know is in. I just wanna tell her that the decision she makes should be the one she wants, not the one she thinks would make people happy, unlike the hero in the story. I'll be her Julia Salas :)
Dead stars too also means for me another thing. Usually, the stars we see twinkling in the night sky look pretty, and alive. But more often than not they're just lights from stars that died long ago. I can compare myself to dead stars cause I have this feeling that sometimes I'm not who I seem, that I can deceive people into thinking of me as a different person. Sometimes, I don't think I show my true self to people. So from now on, I will be as true to myself as possible. Let the star inside of me shine again!
